Conn Eremon
Book XXXIII is the anthology Meduson, which I don't believe has seen a full public release yet either. Taliesin
Surely not, that is a rather slim anthology isn't it? That doesn't seem like it would actually be a numbered anthology in the HH series. Any confirmation on where that info came from? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/314909-book-xxxiii/page/6/#findComment-4269502 Share on other sites
veterannoob
That would be surprising', but it may well be. I'm eager to see all the HH material held from last year delivered with 2016 releases. I'll probably wish I had the thousand bucks to throw at th subscription ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/314909-book-xxxiii/page/6/#findComment-4269517 Share on other sites
ZebraM
Black Libary's numbering system is strange. Some of the anthologies do get numbers and some don't. Conn Eremon
I don't know of any anthologies that didn't get numbered. Far as I know, only novellas and stand alone shorts are unnumbered, and many will get included in later, numbered anthologies. As for #33, I remember when it was first announced, but I'm not particularly in the mood to verify it. It'll be right or wrong, we'll find out eventually. "Death and Defiance" and "Blades of the Traitor" weren't given numbers but they're anthologies just like the rest of them. HamsterExAstris
"Death and Defiance" and "Blades of the Traitor" weren't given numbers but they're anthologies just like the rest of them. They're also only novella length (~128 pages); only novel length material gets numbered, it appears. HaSY
Apparently, the number is just a typo. Meduson and Blades of Traitor and Death and Defiance are not numbered. Sviox
Also, the Imperial Truth is not numbered. But these are all somewhat limited editions and the stories contained will likely be released in a proper numbered anthology. Mantras
Interesting. I have Meduson, its actually really really good. I don't think it will be 33 though. Dumah
The obvious answer is that Alpharius has infiltrated the copy editing department. Or is it Omegon?! Taliesin
It's clearly not a typo or a mistake. The listing has been up for a few weeks and remains as Book 34, plus the Warhammer Digital facebook has stated that it is book 34 and that we will see book 33 soon. I'd be very surprised if it isn't the War without End anthology though. ZebraM
It probably is War Without End seeing as it was meant to be an anthology about Imperium Secundus. It's likely the book got delayed a bit which is why it's coming out after the last Imperium Secundus book.
