HQ- Praetor with cataphractii armor, paragon blade, servo arm, warsmith Troops- 16 man tactical squad with apothecary and chainswords 9 man breacher squad gravi guns, nuncio-vox and rhino Elite- contemptor mortis dread with assult cannons Heavy- 2 sicarans( 1 lascannon, 1 heavy bolter) Artillery tank squad- 2 medusa, 1 whrilwind 9-Iron havoc with 6 autocannon 3 lascannon I don't know my strategy yet but i liked the look of these. i'm on the fence about the breachers. any suggestions would be helpful. please remember i'm new to this. grimsanity Posted October 31, 2015 Author Share Posted October 31, 2015 ok i removed the brechers and made 3 medusas. i'm thinking of adding a spartan or fire raptor but i think i'm lacking armor killing also. what would you all suggest? get the spartan or raptor or some more armor killing units? Trydragon Posted November 6, 2015 Share Posted November 6, 2015 HQ- Praetor with cataphractii armor, paragon blade, servo arm, warsmith -- No issues here IMO Troops- 16 man tactical squad with apothecary and chainswords -- I like this unit i run one simmler but i got a Combi-weapon and melta bombs 9 man breacher squad gravi guns, nuncio-vox and rhino -- Grav guns on a Breacher Squad is a bit Meh IMO its a Heavy weapon, I go Volkite or Melta Elite- contemptor mortis dread with assult cannons -- Best Mortis Dread IMO Heavy- 2 sicarans( 1 lascannon, 1 heavy bolter) -- Both Very good IMOArtillery tank squad- 2 medusa, 1 whrilwind -- Like said above Run the same Arti Pice in the unit9-Iron havoc with 6 autocannon 3 lascannon -- Again dont Mix and Match Ok So additions to your army Being an IW you get an Awesome Upgrade to Heavy Bolters that gives them pinning and as 30K Marines dont have ATSKF and fearlessness very rare it can come in handy also any unit with a Heavy Bolter/Twinlink bolter or Quad Heavy Bolter can take it. If your Running the IW RoW I go for more Dreads and a Second Iron Havoc Squad, also Quad Mortars are good also. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Trydragon Posted November 27, 2015 Share Posted November 27, 2015 Yer I drop the Praevian there not really worth taking if you only have 1 Battle auto, your list is looking good now but i think you need a second unit of troops, you got a lot of heavy fire power but not many scoring units also switch the Rapier Laser Destroyer to a Thudd Gun if you can they work better in groups.
