I absolutely love the Knights, and if there will be a chance again next summer, I might get another In the meantime I will be coming back to the Legion business. I have still my Iron Hands to work on (hopefully you will see some of them in December), but the tide of war is turning. Next year I would like to work more on the models I like, and less on army lists. So there will be followers of the Warmaster and of the Emperor alike on the workbench. It is a really nice model, and the only kit from the GW 40k range that I bought in this year. nevindar Posted November 30, 2015 Share Posted November 30, 2015 black base - boltgun metal - covering wash of sapphire secret weapon wash - drybrush mithril silver on the edges - lower half wash of sapphire blue - bottom 1/3 wash of blue black secret weapon wash.something like that, might be a step or two more but those are the basics. Also Aeternas..the time is usually before Kor'vesh wakes up and have breakfast so... Â Overall was a joy to paint, even if 50% was done on the last day...really need to catch up on some sleep now. Feel I've overused blood slightly (But you can never have too much Kriegmacht, right?) In RL the blue is darker, much more in keeping with a NL blue. Over next few weeks I may make slight detail work alterations, and more weathering, but for now it's very much complete. Score - Traitors 88 - 71 Loyalists THE TRAITORS WIN ON SCORE! Unbelievable scenes! Completion rate - Traitors 73.33% - 53.69% Loyalists THE TRAITORS WIN ON COMPLETION RATE! A stunning victory for Horus! Absolutely great job from all parties this month team - great quality and great fun. The Loyalists really performed a bit below par though, with a poor completion rate helping a strong traitor team deliver a crushing victory. Loyalists, the blood splattered accross Aeternas' Fellblade is ours, and serves as a fitting tribute to the traitor's efforts. A few things to note: This is the first time ever that Slipstreams has failed a vow - it had to happen eventually, and I'm pleased to say it didn't cost the loyalists the win! Also - Fire Golem! Where did you go man! I thought you'd give me completions this month! Black Cohort delivered the top score of 17 for the loyalists in his first challenge - well played sir!
