Guard Mont'ka Formations!

Not really interested...My LGS probably wouldn't react well to "hey, here are some proposed house rules I got from the interwebz"

I can see that. I was putting it out there for other folks as well. Honestly, The CBG has a tremendous lack of obsec for my liking, though I have to say I do like the Emperor's Blade, Spear, and Talon formations, too bad you can't make a good CBG out of them.

~shrug~  I would just be pasting the tank formation and maybe the outflanking armored sentinel formation onto a CAD anyway, and those elements didn't have OBSEC to begin with...

So for those who haven't yet or aren't aware

GW's 40k page opened the door to FAQ's the closing date is supposedly end of the week?

I suggest you get down and ask some questions around the non-FOC choices in our codex and how they interact with the new formations (ie Commissars, Priests, Primaris Psykers, Enginseers).

So far there have been plenty people asking about TL and wyvrens, blast templates and multiple levels etc

I believe this is probably one of the larger ones for the guard currently

If you dont ask itll mean that all those sad BA players will probably get erratas for their scouts and dreadnauts and we get nothing

(PS I still think you can take them especially after going over the section on non-FOC choices in the BRB, but hopefully this will provide a definitive answer ;) )

Haha

It was the only item we had changed in the faq "update" end of last year

There was no specific stat line for his claw in the codex (even though its the same as a power fist) so they errata'd it

Apparently it was the most pressing thing people were asking at the time
