d@n Posted January 4, 2016 Share Posted January 4, 2016 Honestly the best troop choice I have played against is alpha legion or Raven guard, infiltrated breachers with with graviton guns and melta bombs. Simply because they can render your tanks and dreads useless, for a few turns, due to the fact that you can't deploy them anywhere near those breachers squads Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Terminus Posted January 4, 2016 Share Posted January 4, 2016 That can work, especially if you go with Skorr and double-dip into Scout and Infiltrate, but it's a pretty static unit, and at the end of the day is an MEQ profile with a 6++. I like my Breachers with a pair of meltas, a combi-melta, meltabombs, and a dreadclaw. More of an investment, and occasionally the meltas aren't as useful against the juciest targets, but it basically means I'm blowing the crap out of something turn 2 no matter what, and then they and the claw go to being an area-denial weapon.
