My first Imperial Knight (Hawkshroud / Imperial Fists)

Howdy!

 

I just started in the hobby ~6 months ago and this is my first Knight.

 

Presenting: Decatur, The Thundering Stag, Knight Crusader of House Hawkshroud and oath sworn ally to the Sons of Dorn. Behold his mighty countenance and tremble.

Maybe not as impressive as some others I've seen on here, particularly some of the air brushed stuff, but I'm super happy & proud of what I was able to do. 

 

I was really intimidated by the model & put it off for several months, but once I got started I became obsessed. This is by far the most fun I've had assembling and painting, so far.

For being 6 month in the hobby it´s an exellent job. The yellow might be a bit to bright, but that´s only my opinion. The only thing i really would rework is the emblem on the upper armour. Make the laurel green and the skull bone color. Gold in gold is a poor choise. In green and bone it would look better.

That's lovely! Really nice yellow although a bit bright for my personal tastes. Yellow is a hard colour to pull off and the attention to detail is great. Really really nicely done!
