Lucarikx's jump in to 30K - Fallen Angels

Hey guys!

Just got back from being away from the hobby for a good year and wanted to start a fun army I could use for 30K and 40K. I used to play BA back in 5th edition, so I definitely wanted something different that I actually enjoy painting

I've decided to do a Fallen Angels army - I love the fluff and I really enjoy the freedom that comes with modelling and painting them with respect to some of the other legions. I've done a few test models, so tell me what you think!

I'm not sure if I'll be grabbing the BaC box or not since I don't really plan to use any of the models. Don't really have a plan at the moment for the army either, just building and painting what I think looks good. I already have my Tau army for tournaments and stuff, so its definitely a breath of fresh air!

Really like your style! This overly worn out visage is excellently worked! I also like how you managed to introduce the green there and still convey the "Fallen" theme.

Alright, as promised, Mk2/3 marine. Not too into this guy, was done really quickly. The Dakka gallery seems to have butchered the image quality a bit.

I'm planning on doing a 10 man Vet squad next, gonna grab the Dark Angels upgrade set and look for some more of the hooded 'knight' helmets.

 

Also planning on doing models for Cypher, Astelan, and Zahariel (big guys in the fluff for Fallen Angels) somewhere down the line.

Hey guys! With school coming up I've gotten pretty busy, but I've managed to get 2 more marines done. A Master of Signal and a vet.

Really nice! I think he details are what make the difference on - ad the chequered helmet really stands out! :tu:
