Well the Khorne Berzerkers are a bit old, so they have 25mm bases, the Bloodletters are from the newer kits so 32mm (The old metals one are just nasty to play with on little bases though.)

I just used Fist of Khorne in a game and I can tell you I won't be changing my Zerkers bases up to 32mm any time soon.

Great few updates that I h ace missed Prot; LOVE the D Thirster! You use a great palette. Not too sure on your ultra drop pod however! I am eager to see how you get on with testing these out; my own heart says yes but my head says says for the points they aren't too great.....and my bank balance says that the pod is waaaaaay to expensive!!! My head rarer wins however.....

Great stuff as always!

This is just a table top quality test of what I had been discussing in another thread about the direction/look of my Wrath Warband. Since Vurkoze (my Jugg Lord) has a skull head, and has been forming the 'feel' of the Warband, it seemed like a good fit but wanted to do up a quick fig and just see if I could live with it:

I'm pretty happy with it. I've been playing some games where I mix in my Fist of Khorne and it's horribly expensive to field, but it's been fun. I think 20 of these guys would look good enough for me though.

Looking cool Prot.  Are you planning on using few of the Khorne Age of Sigmar models/part for any conversion work in your Daemonkin force?  Really hope you push forward with tis army as it looking cool so far :D

I'll also get this topic added to the Daemonkin first page when I'm on my lap top later on.

Thanks IP.

Well so far those Age of Sigmar pieces have largely gone to the biker squads I'm working on. Mostly in the form of Helmets and Axes.

These Berzerkers are all done up in Forgeworld so I will keep them as is. :)

We'll see how far this goes!

this is what i will play next tournament end of april

D thirster

2x7 cultist and champion

2x5 hounds

helldrake with baleflamer

chaos knight errant dirge caster

gorepack

2x3 bikes 2 meltaguns champion with meltabomb

4x5 hounds

maybe i should change cultist with bloodletters, i think i have some good answers to actual meta, good fast CaC, drake for bikes, melta for veichles the knight offer some heavy fire and resilience.I could also take off 2x5 hounds and play a second helldrake

If you're taking a dirge caster, make sure you take the IA:13 upgrade that doubles its range!

Just a quick note that this is Prot topic, both army log to his really great Daemonkin models & battle report they take part in. Maybe if memeber want discuss army list, to start a new topic in the army list area or post in the Daemonkin commuinty.

Thanks

Just wondering why? Was it a game issue where you felt it better they stay on the original 25mm, or just that it's a bunch of models and you don't feel like doing it?

Edit - Are the rules for An'ggrath the Unbound, Greater Brass Scorpion, and the Kharybdis in the Blood Oath Supplement, or do we still have to get the FW IA books they are in?

Prot, wow! I just finished going through your thread and I'm truly blown away.

My current project is a full company, DA successor, all tall-Scaled. I know Ill need a side project to keep me from getting burnt out, and I'd originally been looking at traitor guard. I think your army has single handedly swayed me to KDK, something I had never considered. Your talent and passion is very inspiring, Ill be sure to follow your work on here

Thank you but I can't take that kind of credit! The codex is just a bit of a hidden gem. People (generally) don't give it a lot of credit. Sure it has its issues, but overall it is an incredibly fun book. I'm glad to have inspired you in any way.... best of luck in taking skulls. ;)
