HandofAnubis
This is a great scheme now that I see it on the model. I really like it, and I dont think I payed it much mind when i flipped through my codex last. I do have a Kharybdis (Sp?) arriving on Monday with some other Khorne goodies. I may have to do a Fist of Khorne sooner than planned. Out of curiosity are you going to do all the helms in bone or just for vets/sarge, HQ's etc? Skathrex
A generel question. I really like the tone of your red. Could you elaborate on how you did it? Which tones? Airbrushed? Washes etc? For clarity, I mean the red on your armor parts. Actually seeing it all on the table I'm going with that scheme for two reasons: 1- it breaks up all the red... there's a lot of red on the table and it all seems to blend together. 2- it's a scheme from the codex so I'm going to use it across the board. :) A generel question. I really like the tone of your red. Could you elaborate on how you did it? Which tones? Airbrushed? Washes etc? For clarity, I mean the red on your armor parts. Honestly I couldn't give you a break down. There's a lot of blending there from a very wide range of reds (and even oranges in some cases )from the Vallejo airbrush line. I often darken, and ink with GW's Agrax though, and then come in again for a lighter red, before highlighting in something more severe like Vallejo orange/red mix. Journeyman
Prost, Do you run bloodcrushers? I am trying to find out whether it is worth upgrading one to a bloodhunter / instrument of chaos/ or a banner? Prot
I do run them from time to time. I prefer keeping them as part of the formation that includes Terminators though. I keep them super cheap except imo the Character upgrade is a must. They're mostly for fun though. They can really kick butt in the right situations though. They synergize well with the Hounds. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317879-prots-khorne-daemonkin-thread/page/4/#findComment-4500453 Share on other sites
