Having seen some of FW official broken legion rules, I've realised that my own project needs to be rethought quite a bit once I got hold of a copy of the full rules. Taken on top of GW latest Space Wolf fluff  and models and the return of an old unwanted acquaintance I have decided to drop out.

Hey All!! Huge update here from the Salamander's Ashen Brigade!

First things first, I need to update my pledge! I'm going to add onto it a squad of pyroclasts! Super excited about painting these guys, will probably be a ton of hours until their done by they'll be worth it. Here are some pictures of them being built:

They're now ready to be painted, along with my contemptor:

Also, I've completed my first veteran tactical squad. Super proud of these guys, they're my first Salamanders unit completed and probably the best painting I've ever done. Hope you all enjoy!

So, I was taking my Venator to the garage to prime it and I dropped one of the track units on the concrete floor and the damage might be catastrophic. At the very least, I'll have to do the bondo work on that side all over again... at the worst, it might be ruined.

 

I'll try to find something to take its place for this event.

Master of Signal Done, I gave him three spray layers... with horrifying results. I hated painting yellow anyway so only Sigismund'll go in it, the rest of the army goes black

Here's a milestone for me.

 

Two completed units.

 

First off the Tactical squad

One thing I've learned from this is not to glue the bolters in place before painting.  They're a nightmare to get a brush behind the next tactical squad I do I will certainly do some "paint before assembly" work.

 

Still the next unit up is my Terminators

Sigismund ready, again problems with the primer, time to a repaint sometime in the future

I found that the cross transfers fit much better than the fist's one so now the army'll defininetilley be non-black templars: crosses on the pauldrons and spare fists
