I still have a good deal of work to do, but I just thought It would be cool to show you guys the army (or beginning of one) that I've been motivated to to paint thanks in large part to Loyalty and Treachery.

Captain Semper - Can I change my pledge? Instead of the Word Bearers Contemptor I would like to change it to a Raven Guard Contemptor. I'm so in love with these Raven Guard models that they deserve my love and attention first!

If its not too late to start a pledge I would very much like to pledge to paint my legion champion, tactical squad and heavy support squad for the VIIth Legion. They've been sprayed yellow but that's it. Are they still eligible?

I'm gonna dedicate part of my next vow to some outstanding B&C:ers, sadly none of which will be semper, because i still lack parts for my emperors children praetor. ;(

For my second Veteran squad I've gone for meltaguns and 2 power weapons.
I know it's probably not the most competitive build but I think it looks cool!

I'm a bit slower than most others, but I did finally get Sigismund to a state I'm happy with. I'm sure after he sits on my shelf and percolates for a month or two, I'll pick him up and do some touch up work, but for now, he's done. (I know I need to put some text on the tabard, at the very least -- I'm just not certain what at the moment.)

edit 2: So ... I'm really not happy with how this one turned out. Instead of continuing on with templar brethren and cataphractii, I'm going to spend more time on him. I may not finish my vow by the deadline, but considering Sigismund is going to be an army focal point, I feel I need to be sufficiently happy with him in order for me to call him done. In short, consider him a work in progress.

Gotta say it's not my favorite sculpt.  I don't know if I got a poorly cast one but the feet were a mess. Still I'm reasonably pleased with how it turned out.

Cudos to all participating brothers and sisters!

I have been working in my knight mostly and doodling for my Dark Forge project, but I wanted to share a quick WiP of my Knight.

Here some previews of my finished pledge. Just have to add the energy effect on a plasma weapon and the power weapons, as well as some minor details. The pictures were taken during a gaming weekend with Gizur, Poom and LeeroyTheSonic.

Well it's been a glacial rate of progress due to my recent house move, and I think to be realistic about actually completing things I'm going to make some changes to my pledge, if I may. I'd like to replace the Lernaean Terminators with Armillus Dynat, and the 10 man Tactical Squad with a 5-man Heavy Support Squad (with Heavy Bolters). Here are my proof-they-aren't-already-done pictures!

 

Dynat: I'm not that keen on his stock pose leaning on the hammer, so i swapped it out entirely for a meatier looking hammer from the Vanguard Veterans kit, using a second to extend the haft. He also got an Alpha Legion helmet. Need to add his shoulder pads and accessories.

Heavy Support Squad: Fairly standard, just picked out the helms with targeters from the MKIV sprues. Some gap filling and joint scraping still required.
