I'm just trying to help a friend with their army list, he wants to take Breachers with the Orbital Assault rite of war. Obviously they cant take a Rhino, thus don't get the option for a legion drop pod - but can you take a Kharybdis and put them in that? Caillum Posted January 19, 2016 Share Posted January 19, 2016 They sure can! All units in the army must be able to Deep Strike, or be inside a transport that can Deep Strike. On page 81 of LA:CAL it says that any Flyer with Hover may Deep Strike. Dreadclaws, Kharybdis Claws, Storm Eagles, Caestus Rams, Thunderhawks and Stormbirds can all transport Infantry, thus enabling those units that don't have access to Rhinos (or Drop Pods) in an Orbital Assault army. Note that other units can Deep Strike, like Jump Infantry, Jetbikes, Landspeeders and Javelins. Armillus Dynat of the Alpha Legion is great in an Orbital Assault list, due to 'The Harrowing' rule and his Warlord Trait allowing you to Deep Strike an Infantry unit. :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
