Charlo. you're a genius, and you've turned around my angst about my whole list! I'd completely forgotten that part of the rules. You must be a good-hearted and kind person deserving of many rewards.

Thanks buddy! I just like to share my knowledge of the rules.

Curious what is the rationale/fluff behind IF/UM shattered force since they were on opposite sides of the galaxy for most of the Heresy, and at odds with each other during Scouring?

The entire legions weren't all together. Definitely scope for a force of IF/ UM from an old fleet who rock faces together etc!

Ultimate shield bros!

I mean, isn't Polux and a bunch of Fists in Ultramar right now?

With his iron warrior buddy and friends.

And dark angels. And blood angels. According to the art white scars too.

Just in case you wanted to fluffstify it.

Though I'm certain there's representatives from all legions on terra.

That is pretty much my reasoning/justification. Bunch of Imperium Secondus guys under Polux clearing through traitor vessels following Calth, the Shadow War etc.

It has been so frustrating going week after week since May waiting for FW to release the UM Breacher Shields they previewed back at the Open Day. Gah.

I'd do it. I'd love to have a force of IF with UM. Imagine running the stone gauntlet with an IF foot slogging objective holder breacher squad, an UM power sword breacher squad out of a land raider phobos or following behind the IF breachers, suzerains as bodyguard with an UM delegatus in a land raider as well, then Phalanx Wardens in a spartan with either Polux or non-named praetor. All them T5 power armor units. Expensive, not practical, but would be an awesome sight and fluffy shielded force with tactics to run. Maybe backed by artillery and destroyers as a fortress/city siege/breaching force.

Or indeed anything. I've been waiting since June/July for the moritat and wanted it foeasy birthday (July end) instead I'll be lucky if it's a Christmas gift!

I saw this on a diffrent thread but I figured it could have a home here. Iron Warriors/Sons of Horus build with Hammer of Olympia. The Sons of Horus tacticals and assault elements all have +1BS when firing at something within 12in so they would rapid fire, charge in and the would have a chance to get back their lost attack from disordered charge through merciless fighters. Iron Warriors certainly bring enough firepower to back them up.

Not bad, not bad at all!

A little cheesy but having the extra attack after a Mag-rip is really awesome.

RG/AL Apothecaries can force the infiltrate rule on units by having it and creating a unit with them, unlike just attaching an IC, but that's it. The specific LA rules only apply to the specific models, and only rules that affect a squad will work when you attach them/force a unit combination with apothecaries. The LA rules that are ignored are the detachment-wide ones, which would have shared rules, like Rigid Tactics. Then there's the list of what is shared after. So an AL Warlord could use Infiltrate Mutable Tactics.
