Stormtalon walker conversion

Hello battlebros, surfing on the web I found this interesting conversion project

I'm going to build my own version and by now I can sacrifice a stormtalon and a dradknight for it...

 

And now the core of the matter: what kind of legs should I use ?

The guy used the ones from the soul grinder kit, that sounds to me a little bit too expensive...

The legs of the dreadknith seems to me a bit short.

Carnifex legs.

 

Seriously, just get the defiler kit, use two of the legs, and you can still make a defiler with the 4 other limbs, or have enough to make three of these things.

Awww... apart from defiler kit, that's a good solution but it's expensive and a bit too slim...

there are other suitable legs also from 3rd parts ?

But...those are the exact legs he used...bbut theyre too slim? Bulk them up.

 

Or make your own from plasticard.

Well it seems we don't understand.

I know what he used in this conversion beause in the link he made a list of kits he used.

I like his work, but I want try some alternate legs, maybe bit more bulky.

 

I considered the ones from the deradknight, the ad mech walker, the imperial knight and the sentinel from IG, but they do not fit well IMHO.

So there are other easy options ? Thanks for the help.

Thanks Chesco, they're good, I still keep searching, but they're ok to me.

Now I'm looking at Dust Tattics Mechs, they are interesting, but prime battlewalker fits better...

I usually buy from hoard o bits... but I'm still searching some solution that would fits my taste.

The last one that I considered was a mod to stretch the legs of dreadknight...
