So I'm gonna use this thread to post everything Slaanesh (except the AoS stuff) that I'm working on, from Daemons to Horus Heresy era Emperors Children. First up I've been working on a herald converted from a vampire lord and some daemonettes (had a problem with the primer and some of the detail on the daemonettes has been lost so forgive the poor painting) The daemonettes are pretty much finished, the herald is a lot further on than in this pic. I'll be finishing her tonight hopefully. I've also ordered a box of chaos space marines, and I'm thinking of either painting them purple like HH EC, black and pink like 40k EC or as Black Legion members that worship Slaanesh exclusively (so black and gold as standard but with purple shoulder pads and Slaanesh symbols)., I'd appreciate your thoughts :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Clearly, you are blessed by the Dark Divine of Salvation and all things of beauty. Go forth and extend the will of your God/dess into this galaxy of carnage and slaughter. Seriously though, this looks like a pretty solid start so far. I like the simple but effective conversion of Vampire Countess. A thing I've seen a few people do, to help break up the somewhat dull posing and lack of diversity among the daemonettes, is mixing them with the plastic Witch Cult kits from the Dark Elves range. They look pretty stellar when mixed together. As for your sons of Fulgrim, I would recommend mostly sticking with the Horus Heresy colors. Maybe lighten the purple up just a bit and color the should pad insets black but otherwise I'd say keep them the same. I've rarely seen anyone who does Emperor's Children for the Horus Heresy do anything particularly Slaaneshi yet and its a bit disappointing. Yeah that's pappa smurfs torso, maybe my chaos lord copied his armour just to taunt him lol. Besides it will look better in purple anyway, everything looks better in purple.
