Brother Galfridus
Hi everyone After a year of painting Iron Warriors for myself and a few other commission projects time to revisit an old army. Once long ago I had Ultramarines and with a box and a bit of Calth hanging around thought why not go with the boys in blue. First rhino painted. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160310150957822_zpsfgpnkqcv.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160310151017189_zpstirwwt0n.jpg and a couple of WIP shots to show how the stages change things. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160309145025532_zpsvieaywia.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160310132754314_zpsq3gwfdw4.jpg
Dosjetka
Wow. That is a beautiful blue. And the weathering is spot on, though I find it lacks a bit of chipping. I look forward to seeing more.

BrotherCaptainArkhan
Fantastic. Seems to be a few more gritty/weathered-style Ultra threads kicking around recently, good to see. Any infantry in this scheme?

Brother Sgt. Steine
Excellent. Solid piece. I think the weathering and chipping is just right. Subtle, but realistic. Keep 'em comin' Brother! Courage and Honor! BSS

Brother Galfridus
Again thanks everyone for the kind words. I'm still assembling infantry for myself and in the mean time I've started a commission of Guilliman's own. First finished is a Storm Raven. All assembly was by the client I only applied the paint. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160324152614916_zpsvvvdwurd.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160324152626210_zpsh8ivrrgc.jpg Next up is a Land Raider Crusader. Firepower
And the sponson shields are on backwards... Well painted though.
Brother Galfridus
And the sponson shields are on backwards... Well painted though. Makes a change from the hurricane bolters being glued on upside down on the Stormraven. My job was just to apply the paint I haven't even removed the mouldlines. Brother Galfridus
Finished another Rhino. Less weathering than the first one more in keeping with how I did the Land Raider. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/Mobile%20Uploads/CameraZOOM-20160406134700136_zpsv2ielrmm.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/Mobile%20Uploads/CameraZOOM-20160406134649008_zpsvff2odfa.jpg

Brother Galfridus
The Storm Talon now has a twin which I forgot to take pictures of. Just finished this Vindicator. It was requested to be more heavily chipped and weathered than the rest of the army as there is always at least one in the client's army lists. A real veteran of the tabletop. Also requested was something to show a melta blast on the front dozer. I have never done anything more than some heat on weapons before so armed with that knowledge and google images of welding heat marks I produced something simple but reasonably effective. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160516191718100_zpsllxecpby.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160516191748331_zps0hnanxpc.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160516191732252_zpsr852glom.jpg
Newtoncain
Wonderful paint jobs Sir. Too bad you don't paint/drill out your gun barrels.
BrotherCaptainArkhan
Great melta blast effect. Love the vehicles so far.
Brother Galfridus
Wonderful paint jobs Sir. Too bad you don't paint/drill out your gun barrels. If the client wanted it I would. Another week another vindicator. The request was for almost zero scratches and lighter weathering on this one. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160525174530064_zpsbladj5ir.jpg
Brother Galfridus
This week in blue :D A predator that has spent 10 years sat unpainted. Because of this I've put a couple of veteran transfers on. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160603122357516_zpsatpnzib4.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160603122431220_zpsna9hoqmb.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/brushknights/CameraZOOM-20160603122414827_zpsidsgmg4f.jpg
Dosjetka
Not bad. The power armour on the gunner could do with a bit more shading though. It looks a bit flat at the moment.
