Solar Auxilia 1.5k - AV14 spam

Hey all.

I'm getting into Solar Auxilia, and I've come up with a couple of lists to work towards.

I'd appreciate any feedback you have.

List 1

Auxilia Command Section (10 man) w/ grenade launcher x2 110

Dracosan w/ flare shield, demolisher cannon 190

Tank Commander 55

Veletaris Squad (10 man) w/ volkite, meltabombs 120

Dracosan w/ flare shield, demolisher cannon 190

Veletaris Squad (10 man) w/ volkite, meltabombs 120

Dracosan w/ flare shield, demolisher cannon 190

Leman Russ Vanquisher w/ lascannon 185

Malcador Heavy Tank w/ lascannon sponsons, demolisher cannon, siege armour, armoured ceramite, flare shield 340

Simple enough list. Commander can either go in vanquisher for more accurate anti tank, or ride in the Malcador.

List 2

Auxilia Command Section (10 man) w/ grenade launcher x2 110

Veletaris Squad (10 man) w/ volkite, meltabombs 120

This list replaces the Malcador and the tank commander with two more Russes and AC on the command Dracosan. For the last 5 points, I was considering putting dual blast pistols on the Strategos, unless anyone has any better ideas? I'm leaning more towards list 1, but I already have three Russes which is why I made list 2. I guess I can just go up to 2k, to get the best of both worlds.

At my club, there is a decent spread of legions with some militia allies. I'm looking to make a reasonably competitive list, but not one that will loose me (too many) friends.

I'll probably be aiming for 2 - 2.5K eventually, and if by some miracle I win one of the Warhounds, I'll stretch to 3k.
