For reference, here is LySiMachus' current progress in collating information so far.

According to the link, my contribution was that of my main Sisters Order (Order of the Dauntless Spirit), not the 'Reavers.

As for the question of its fate, well it won't hurt to get the Defib out one more time and see if it still has a pulse

#itsaliveitsALIVE!

It did indeed, we got all the way to the final battles for Kuis and Kalil before things petered out. The problem I found was when I came back to it a year ago to write up all the summaries. I got the Introductions for the 4 battle groups done, and got Rounds 1 and 2 for all 4 groups summarized. But because of the board crashing (more than once if memory serves) it became really difficult to work out which bits were Round 3 and which were Round 4! I was going to try and compile both Rounds into 1 (so 4 more summaries for the battle groups) so we could get on with the final battles (which combined the survivors of the 4 groups into 2 battles).

As I said last time, if people really want to finish things off, I think the best way would be to each read the compilation thread through, see where your Chapter was at the end of Round 2, and start things again from Round 3...

Edit @Ace: Don't worry, I hadn't forgotten the Infinity Knights, but they turned up later in the Campaign? So I had been planning to add their Chapter fluff piece as a sidebar in their group's 3rd Round summary, but then my aforementioned failure to untangle the threads happened!

.... Oh yeah.

I guess it was me who forgot something about the Infinity Knights, in that case! laugh.png

As luck would have it, the vagaries of the Warp continue to confound us.  The Five Suns entered the Empyrean years ago 28 months ago and are finally approaching Kuis Prime in order to piss everyone off by being overly... thorough.  I believe that I may owe some updated graphics of Kalil and Kuis themselves; notable landmarks and the like to enhance the map.  I'll see what I can whip up over the next week; I'm a tad busy teaching or falling out of planes the Tuesday-Friday.

Oh, yeah.  I'm in.

So, one day after contacting you, I have ten or eleven of you willing to finish off the Campaign? Not bad, I must say.

In order of response:

Kelborn (Not an original participant but willing to help)

Arkangilos

Conn Eremon

Uprising

Ace Debonair

SpecialIssueAmmo

Madwolf Shadowmane

As things stand, whichever Mods are involved will lead the effort (possibly with Octavulg if we see him) and hopefully some progress can be made again.

Maybe I can seriously consider Plan B...

I see my Avenging Fists were lost to the Warp. tongue.png

Many of the topics were archived due to the time since they were last active. I've been marking every Liber Campaign topic I can find for unarchiving.

If y'all recall any topics that have disappeared, please let me know keywords that I can use to find them so that I can have them unarchived.

I'll look through the files to check. But the Avenging Fists seemed to be okay in an unarchived thread Madwolf linked earlier about the Siege of Khalil and defence of the Black Swans' homeplanet. Not much left of their Fourth Company, but a single Company does not a Chapter make. ;)

In other words, I am still around.

What's Plan B, exactly? huh.png

Plan A was to hide in the boat. Plan B was to kill everyone here, i'll pass on that for now. Plan c

Back on topic, whats plan B?

Hold on to your butts...

We move it to the Special Projects subforum. The Campaign would need a core of members to keep working on it and someone would have to be the project lead but Plan B does stop the whole thing from just sinking to the depths of the Liber's archived topics. If only a handful of Fraters had responded to the call, then the move would have been pointless as it would be abandoned again after a certain amount of time but with maybe a dozen of you, perhaps a final product can be created.

Ah, I see.happy.png

I thought it better to ask for clarification since long years in the Liber have taught me to dread any ominously-named mysterious schemes I happen across. tongue.png

That and if Plan B had been something like 'let's reboot the whole thing' I'd have been most worried. laugh.png

Oh you don't have to worry, we'd never use phrases like Plan B for something like that.

That'd imply we only only have 26.

Oh lordy, no. Let's finish what's on our plates first (Liber Cluster and various IA's for example). I think the next community project should be a little less grand in scope than the Campaign. ;)

I actually think that we had really good momentum going, but fall of 2013 really just gutted us... everyone had lots of stuff going on (weddings, deployments, sickness, etc.) but I think if we can regain some of that momentum, we can finish this act out and position it for something maybe in the future again.  Far future...
