Battle Cry ETL V: This. Is. Codex Space Marines!

Last year, Chaos was victorious. Again. 

 

This is the 30th Anniversary of Space Marines. Good, old fashioned Space Marines.

Not the time of the Horus Heresy, the beginning of our Grim Dark Future of Only War.

We are of the 41st Millennium. WARHAMMER 40,000! The END GAME. 

No Legions. No Emperor at our side. No Primarchs to lead us. 

And Chaos is closing in. Again. 

 

Let us gather as never before. Let us take up our bolters and brushes. 

We can make a difference. Each of us. Let us provide models and units from EVERY Chapter. 

Let us stand united in these dark times. Let us march forward together. 

Every one of us counts.

I was planning on painting for the aod forum and my SoH but your rally cry convinced me on bolstering my 40k IH instead ☺

 

I will start assembling models first thing tomorrow! And with the arrival of the angels of death supplement there will most likely more add ons to my to do list

The Raven Guard shall be bolstered by new recruits into the 10th Company.  Those trained with sniper and holy bolter will be revealed.  Some will ride into the shadows from the Storm.  A Chaplain has taken a keen eye to their training and will watch them as they stalk to battle.

They wont Olis, Codex Marines will win this year.  I myself shall probably be painting a squad or two of Deathwatch Marines drawn from my brother Liber Chapters.  A tribute, if you will, to oaths long since sworn in ages inmemorial.

I've recently started building some Eagle Warriors in preparation for the ETL. Hopefully I'll be able to place an order for some Palatine Blades so they arrive in time for that event too

I've got a pretty decent amount of stuff waiting to paint for this, although given the fact I only scraped in with the minimum pledge of 3 units (2 of which were single characters) half an hour before the deadline for L&T, I might keep my pledging mediocre. Stuff I've got includes:

Captain Semper! Apologies if this has been covered somewhere already, but is it legal to vow units with different Chapter Tactics? For example, could I vow Asterion Moloc (Minotaurs, IA12) and a counts-as Tigurius, seeing as both characters are affiliated with Codex Space Marines, or should all vows be treated as a single army and therefore have only a single Chapter affiliation?
