Quick question:  For the before pics, does still on the sprue/partially assembled count?  It would be the kick in the butt I need to get to assembling, not to mention actually painting!

I would think so, as the model has to be unpainted. I think that is the most important bullet point.

That doesn't mean you can't pledge already assembled models. Even models that have been primered are acceptable.

Anything up to the undercoating level is an auto-pass. Above that it's on a case-by-case basis.

 

As such the answer to your question is a resounding yes! :)

We have now officially exceeded the number of participants we had last year

Are you talking about models that were included in your original vow? If yes and this is a WIP pic, then post them here - people generally look at new posts not the ones already made. If you post them in your original vow thread, people will most likely ignore it. 

 

If they are new models, they will not be eligible for the ETL if they are close to finish nor you can modify your vow once it is made.
