SEVENTH WEEKLY UPDATE

Still a way to go, unfortunately for a variety of reasons I've unable to get any work done on my vow this week There's plenty enough time left to finish so I'll catch up soon enough

Yeah, this weekend ended up being pretty busy for me. I'm hoping to sneak the time in to get the Meltagunners painted for my vow today.

That's the Guard way; not one step back ;) As I've only got time for the one vow I can afford to be a little slow on it, but I'm aiming to get some decent progress made for the next update picture :D

The padre (shown here bathing in the Emperor's light) is almost finished, I just need to do the base and some more highlighting, then spray the whole thing in some sort of varnish.  This is my first time painting metal and my fingers have rubbed it back so many times.

He's looking good, metal isn't too bad to work with just remember to hold the base ;)

You can always rely on the Guard to do the extra mile! Now with this completion you guys have achieved a completion rate in the second vows of 100% (for the time being). ;) First and third vows are at just 14% though...

I've finally run out of tanks to paint, but i do have an unopened Valkyrie to do and some rogue trader era infantry i wanted to use as a command squad so we shall see. Although who knows what i'll come back with from Warhammer World, having access to a forgeworld shop in person is dangerous.....

The Valkyrie is a nice model to paint (not so much build...), albeit a large one. You have more than done your duty so no need to rush into a big vow if you don't want, so maybe a nice command squad vow would be a good way to round off your contribution to the war effort? :P

Man this is taking a while, prob not best idea for ETL. Hull camo done. Turret next. And looks average from this angle too sigh. Onwards as always soldiers. Keep up the good work.

I've made some progress on my massive vow. I have two build two Chimeras still but I have ten of sixteen ready for primer and paint. I have much more to do but it will be done. I hope these pictures give a good update. Let me know what you think. I've been building my own track guards mixed with some of the gw kits. I'm so glad most of the old paint came off of these so easily.
