Drying Retarder & Flow Improver are your friends, spent over 4 hours painting tonight only needing to thin my paint when I first added it to the palette. Whats left is still actually wet nearly 2 hours after I finished for the evening.

I'm using a dry palette at the mo too so it definitely works

10 Marines left to get the mid-tone on and I've got the Sorcerer and his buddy base-coated. Should be picking up Lucius tomorrow so I'll get a before pic of him into my vow post once he's cleaned, built & primed and then I'll be proceeding with a faster pace in order to get this vow done by the 15th. I'm back at work from the 20th and my hobby time will be extremely limited for possibly the next month afterwards so I want to at least get halfway through vow 3 by then

I may be able to help you out there, although I am in the middle of a move, so it could take a bit (also why I haven't posted any more progress ). You could always just randomly glue the pieces together and cover any gaps with gs tentacles though!

Also, don't sea creatures make for pretty terrible currency?

Tbh, a Khorgorath is as daemonic as it can be. Add a Marine helmet to his base and go with it?

Welcome Dahkness! That's a hefty vow indeed, brother! About its format: it is customary to write out all upgrades and put total points cost for each unit entry. It's not required per se, but does add some transparency to your vow that allows checks - which might turn out in your favour (I, for example, was checked and shown that I was wasting almost 200 ppints). It also prevents the Codex and HH forums from having reasons to whine about their eventual, but inevitable, loss. ;)

If you start a WiP thread in the Forge, we can all spurr you on with praise, feedback, and drooling! Also: another Kytan entry WOOOOOO!

About my progress: I finally got the replacement exhausts in for my Kytan. I also built the Typhon - both need some traitor stuff (some chains and skulls on spikes). I also built the Lord of Skulls tracks for the Spartan.
