@40kChris - thanks man, I should say I spent a good while staring at your herald, he's sublime! One day I shall paint as you do and give my demon prince the electric murdersword he deserves. I got lazy with the painting; but there's still so much to do!

 

I, BrotherJim, rise to the challenge of the E.T.L here for the third time. I vow to paint one unit of 5 terminators armed with 3 combi-melta/3 power axe, 1 combi-flamer/power fist and 1 heavy flamer/power fist, for a grand total of 231 pts from Codex:Chaos Space Marines. It's fine, she fought for a long time and passed peacefully. On the plus side, I got the OK to bring my models with me to the other place, so I can work on progress there. Just need to get some spray painted tomorrow, if not for soon, then for when I get them later. So I still have a chance.

As I mentioned yesterday I managed to get the armour panels on the knight finished however I was wondering if you guys could help me out choosing a colour for the trim cant decide between a gold or a light silver?

You are and have been totally right about all the things I mentioned you said: and I will touch them up, I swear! I know new things will be more exciting, but I can't stand the fact that C8L doesn't fit my awesome new red colour scheme, and want him to fit in. I've heard him crying at night, begging for a rehaul. And with my recent experience painting large red things, my airbrush and Liquid Metal paints, and the ETL deadline looming, he'll be a very economical ETL choice, too.  

 

About "there's no advising [me] anyway". I do admit I'm a stubborn bastard - but when you're right, you're right. :tu: ;)

 

Mind you though: I have three Iron Circle battle automata waiting as icing on the ETL cake - they'll be vowed as Contemptors with Extra Armour counts-as in my fifth vow.
