ETL vow 2 preparation!

Err... give them a bit to make sure they're solidly stuck (the penitent engines, Canoness doesn't have any top heavy issues)

Unfortunately it's quite dark here with cloudy skies so a flash had to be used

Legs and base are done, arms nearly done, purity seal scripture needs tidying up (coffee jitters may make this fun), flamers need doing and skull decorations need goldifying. After that it's the body and then liberally spraying with blood, making one complete penitent engine!

 

Pipes, pipes need doing too don't forget, maybe dark reaper coloured, for a change?

Mostly done on the first penitent engine, still needs bloodying on the blades

 

And the canoness has been started.

Ok so over a month since the last post. To be honest, I don't like painting metal, I've distracted myself with other things (learnt a new way to paint white, thank you heresy era World Eaters) but with 8 days left until the end of ETL I'm confident I could at least push myself to finish that. Since last post I've managed to nearly finish the cannoness:

And basecoat the red parts of the upper body and everything aswell of the 2nd penitent engine.

However I've also received the first part of the raging heroes TGG2 kickstarter and I'm happy with the freebies that can be used (an Inquisitor and cannoness counts as, the bondage style repentia mistress can be a thing to paint) and another inquisitor and a hospitaller counts as. Sure they don't look sisters-y, but they're a new thing to paint.

Well, I've finished the models to declare the vow complete and post an image of them, problem is that Flikr will not accept my upload of the picture, so I'll wait until tomorrow to try again (about to go to work so not much time to faff about). To give some clues though, there's a black/ metal coloured penitent engine with a female pilot, a red penitent engine with male pilot and the white armoured canoness with gold eviscerator.

 

Well i tried the gallery and uploaded a picture properly

 

I'll wait until tomorrow to see if I can get the photo up on flikr and edited properly to get a better size and post it into the ETL thread.

 

Edit: Tried one last time and it worked!
