So I was relaxing at home the other night rewatching the Blacklist on Netflix and cranked out my Raptors Imperial Space Marine custom figure.

Built using MK Vi kneeling legs, Primaris- Head Right arm and left hand, Tactical marine- MK VI torso, left arm and shoulder pads, FW- Phobos bolter, grenades, and MK IV vox back pack (not pictured), Anvil Industries- Halo Sight, PEQ, Grenades, Knife, and triple mag and pouches, Plasticard- Disintegration "203" and tactical Flashlight.

Still need to do: green stuff- cloak and grip for 203, foil- Sling for bolter and more 203 ammo, and little details to the bolter/ 203.

More WIP

10th Company standard bearer (idea borrowed from someone in here, would love to give you credit but can’t remember who did it)

Imperial Space Marine

Apothecary

Mk IV Apothecary

Very cool. That MK IV Apothecary looks really tall.

I love the pose on your ISM, is the thought that he is racking the slide back? If it's not glued yet and you want to go another step you could cut the bolt carrier tab off and glue it to the back of the receiver and position the gun closer to his hand to get that effect. Then add a casing being ejected and you're done... hang on... might be doing that to make my own ISM conversion now...

Well the project I have been waiting for just got kicked up in the line

GW Kill Team

One problem I always had with the GW version was it was always centered around the squad not individuals. Herald of Ruins fan version I was one of the play testers years ago there was some glaring issues i never liked. plus fan based games are hard to convince others to play in my group.

Now with this one closer to HoR build wise (which I always liked) and based around GW's rules I am ecstatic.

My Raptors kill team will be in Desert Camo unique to this team (mainly to keep them away from my other Raptors) and will be based off this:

Team 7

So far the team will consist of:

Veteran Sgt Lynch- Sternguard?

Cash- Scout Sniper

Cray- Heavy weapon Specialist (or may change to special weapon)

Dane- Heavy or special pending Cray's load out

Slayton

Chang

Fairchild

Callahan

I'm not asking in the N&R thread, yet ... can I throw away the KT stuff that came before?

it looks like it. Community page basically says it's a whole new system from the ground up. I'd keep your models and terrain but everything else is done.

(at least that's how I'm interpreting it)

What I gathered from the Warhammer Community post was all previous versions are dead (sucks Brother Tyler’s SW updates were awesome too), Rogue trader would be the expansion to kill team, multiple terrain sets to simulate different war zones and similar to shadespire.

So without rules, decided Dane/Archlight will be Primaris with an auto bolt rifle and grenade launcher, so Cray/ Deathblow is still smaller than Dane is but gets the heavy weapon (heavy bolter). Slayton/ Backlash will be a reiver as he is the squads melee expert. Lynch/ Topkick will stay as Sternguard Vet Sgt, Cash/ Deadeye/ Grifter scout sniper and the other ones will be Base bolter Guys. All unhelmeted, and heavily geared up in my style. Thinking most will be built using DW torsos and backpacks

The more I think about this the more excited I've become... this is my dream right here...

I also forgot I had the Execution Force game at my work desk because I got a stupid good deal on it and wanted the assassins. I've got a chaos KT now... so I'm sitting on four potential KT's in hand... I may end up going with a knight army for my 40k games, sticking to KT for everything else... oh man, this is exciting!

Your kill team idea sounds really cool, I'm excited to see it come together.

Thanks man....I think I enjoy building more than playing. My eBay account can attest to that with the sheer amount of bits I order on a monthly/ semi monthly basis..

Sad my Adepta Sororitas don’t have rules but I can wait for them like I always do.

My Raptors army is seriously out of control at this point which I’m fine with need to focus on getting stuff done, but hopefully airbrushing will speed up the process
