Rad Grenades?

Death Guard used to be low tier along with the first book Legions, and got arguably the least amount of help in the transition, but tiers don't really apply anymore in 30K. A few Legions have more universally applicable rules (Sons, Alphas, Ravens, etc.) that makes them a powerhouse in multiple builds, but all the Legions can put out very nasty lists by leveraging their unique qualities or synergies with generic Rites (as a bonus, this usually mirrors the backgrounds of the Legions very well, case in point the Children's IIIrd or World Eaters' Berserker Assault). Likewise with Death Guard, rad grenades, shredding flamers on sniper veterans, scythes, and nice unique Terminators in almost every slot can make for very thematic and nice lists. They are decidedly average, not too strong not too weak.
