Ramshackle games artillery cannon

So recently I saw Reece from frontline gaming had bought these cannons as stand ins for earthshaker/medusa artillery and I was wondering if anyone has anything from this company? I'm not entirely sure what the size is compared to the "official" forge world model and so I don't know how easily this can be proxied in.

Here's a link to the actual product - http://shop.ramshacklegames.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=45&products_id=400

Or maybe there are better 3rd party models to use that I haven't found yet?

I'd play against it, you know, if I ever played again. Would I field it? Maybe. I'm working on a man-portable howitzer right now but I don't think it's going to work out. A pack howitzer would do well but we have so few horses in 40k and the AoS ones just won't do. I think I might need to look at some FW rules regarding artillery.

Wow, sorry about the digression! Anyway, I think Victoria Miniatures makes something like this. It may be a mortar, though.

Perhaps it's just me, but I much prefer the look of Kromlech's Imperial Siege Mortar:

That being said, I'm not really a Guard player, so I'm not certain it would be entirely suitable, but it sure does look good.

That would make an excellent heavy mortar :)

Just found this as well - needs a little bit of converting but looks like an earthshaker right?

So, I've been doing a bit of research. Watching some reviews of the laser cut card stuff. It seem pretty solid. There seems to be a lot of laminating involved, as well as other materials. The vehicles use a combination of heavy card and mdf, with plastic tubing where necessary.

The artillery seems to be the same way. I can also attest to how stiff card gets when you use superglue.

I was thinking that the extra pip in S and AP along with the huge blast radius made it pretty nasty along with barrage. Maybe S10 along with something like a re-roll on the scatter to represent the earth shattering pummelling they would delivery to the area making it hard to escape?

Anyone with basilisks without the turret glued on could just make a base/stand/platform so it might be worth me liking them up in future just so I get basilisks AND artillery.

Then again it's only £22 for 3 of them card things.....
