HackedDuck Posted August 18, 2016 Share Posted August 18, 2016 So recently I saw Reece from frontline gaming had bought these cannons as stand ins for earthshaker/medusa artillery and I was wondering if anyone has anything from this company? I'm working on a man-portable howitzer right now but I don't think it's going to work out. A pack howitzer would do well but we have so few horses in 40k and the AoS ones just won't do. I think I might need to look at some FW rules regarding artillery. Wow, sorry about the digression! Anyway, I think Victoria Miniatures makes something like this. It may be a mortar, though. Ulrik_Ironfist Posted August 21, 2016 Share Posted August 21, 2016 So, I've been doing a bit of research. Watching some reviews of the laser cut card stuff. It seem pretty solid. There seems to be a lot of laminating involved, as well as other materials. The vehicles use a combination of heavy card and mdf, with plastic tubing where necessary. Maybe S10 along with something like a re-roll on the scatter to represent the earth shattering pummelling they would delivery to the area making it hard to escape?
