Cerastus Knight-Atrapos

····Cerastus Knight-Atrapos [Occular Augmetics]

* Sigismund joins with apothecary and 10 templar brethren and  take Kharybdis. They deep strike via DPA in 1st turn and assault in 2nd turn. Target is opponent warlord. They are Task force of the army.

* Master of Signal joins with 20 tactical marines. Their role is backyard object holder. Also MoS can support templar brethren with unlimited range one use bombardment.

* Knight-Atrapos go after templar brethren. It's role is second blowing after templar brethen DPA. At 1st turn, it runs to enemy line and endure with Ion-flare shield. Since 2nd turn, it shoot anything in sight with gravition weapon and lasscutter. But I'm not sure Atrapos is good at rampaging in close range or melee for it's point. I'm considering swap for Leviathan(same role as Atrapos) or Sicaran Venator(tank-hunt).

* Contemptor go with Atrapos. It take away opponent's interruption aim for Atrapos. Like enemy walkers, or terminators.

* Terminators deep strike to templar brethren or tactical squad. In most case they go with templar brethren, but if opponent threat backfield object they go to tactical squad. Of course they can escort Atrapos if needed, as same role as Contemptor. In any case, their role is block enemy assault. May be I can take veteran tactical squad with marksman trait and heavy bolters instead of terminators for more fire power.

* Deredeo kills aircraft, marines, light vehicle with Aiolos missiles and Autocannons.

I'll be very appreciated for any advice. I'll must use Sigismund and templars and Kharybdis.

Well, First is that the Atrapos isn't a legal standalone Knight Choice. He can only be taken by the Mechanicum and Questoris Knights in such a manner so if you want to include one with Legion Lists, you need a Questoris Knight list of 2 Knights at minimum, one of them being  the Atrapos.

Next would be Teleporting Shield Terminators. Why? They have no shooting so when they drop down, they have to stand around doing nothing for a whole turn and probably just eat enemy shooting during that time. If you want them to actually be immediately useful on the drop, swap out to Cataphractii and Combi-Weapons.

Why a Master of Signal? Aside from his One-Use Bombardment, he won't be helping your list at all. Better to just invest in a Primus Medicae and slap him onto the Templar Squad to give them FNP. Also, give the Templar Melta Bombs.

They can use Questoris knight as LoW slot. See new legion book p.9.

The Atrapos is an exception to the Knight LoW for Legions, he may only be taken in a Questoris list of 2000pts or as a Mechanicum LoW

In fact, no. You can see revised legion book LoW War Machine Detachment section that describes "1~2 Super-heavy vehicles of the same unit type, each with a Hull Points value of 8 or less, and each chosen either from the specific army list for the Primary Detachment, the Questoris Knights army list found in the Crusade Imperialis army lists." And as Forge World open rule for Cerastus Knight-Atrapos, it can be used either as part of a Mechanicum Taghmata army as a LoW choice as normmal, or as part of a Questoris Knight Crusade army too. I heard that Crusade Imperialis army book including Atrapos in their list from who have Questoris Knight army. Isn't it?

Regardless of what the War Machine Detachment would otherwise allow, you still have to respect the restrictions enforced by any model you wish to take for the detachment.

In this case:

The Mechanicum Knight-Atrapos may be used either as part of a Mechanicum Taghmata army as a Lords of War choice as normal, or as part of a Questoris Knight Crusade army as a 0-1 choice per 2,000 points in the army

Seeing as this is neither a Mechanicum Thagmata Army nor is it a Questoris Knight Crusade army, he's not an available selection.

HOWEVER, if you were to take a Questoris Knight Allied Detachment consisting of 1 HQ knight and 1 Troop Knight, then either selection could be an Atrapos.
