Tzen
When the Exalted Sorcerer kit was first released, I bought it straight away. And I instantly painted one, then, Just ten years later, I have finally got round to painting another! This time, the chap on the disc. This is a great little kit, would be great to see them, and the entire Thousand Sons range, get the update treatment most marines have had in scale. Still a cracking kit though. 4 9 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326483-tzens-completed-thousand-sons/page/7/#findComment-6180074 Share on other sites

Firedrake Cordova
Lovely work, as per usual. I really like the contrast you got in the haft of the staff. 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326483-tzens-completed-thousand-sons/page/7/#findComment-6180090 Share on other sites

Tzen
Well, just 10 years after the kit was released, I have finished the Exalted Sorcerer kit. Nice and speedy, I think we can all agree! 3 10 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326483-tzens-completed-thousand-sons/page/7/#findComment-6180851 Share on other sites

Firedrake Cordova
Super-crisp work, as usual. The runes on the tassels(?) came out great. 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326483-tzens-completed-thousand-sons/page/7/#findComment-6180909 Share on other sites

Tzen
Thanks chaps, glad you like! I have a bit of a thing for Dreadnoughts, of any flavour, but when it comes to my Thousand Sons, I find it a little baffling that they don’t have the Heresy Era dreads as Rubric Dreadnoughts. So as with my earlier ones, I tend to just paint them up and use them as Helbrutes. I really like the Helbrute idea in the codex, but I think there is room for both concepts in the army. Either way, I think the Contemptors make great proxy’s. And look the part too! 3 7 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326483-tzens-completed-thousand-sons/page/7/#findComment-6181636 Share on other sites
Firedrake Cordova
Really nice! I'm not usually a massive fan of the design of the Contemptor Dreadnought, but he looks great, and the posing is really nice. The base sets him off nicely, too. 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326483-tzens-completed-thousand-sons/page/7/#findComment-6181639 Share on other sites

space wolf
Super clean paint! Wish I could paint like that! How long does a single marine typically take to finish? I imagine the T-Sons are super time consuming. 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326483-tzens-completed-thousand-sons/page/7/#findComment-6183722 Share on other sites

So that helps speed things up! :D 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326483-tzens-completed-thousand-sons/page/7/#findComment-6183764 Share on other sites
