Ugh. My list sounds bad mainly because I have not listed the things I HAVE painted any where. Darn it, I need to learn to upload pictures and start a Plog.

Also I have unopened boxes of a cadian command squad, infantry squad and heavy weapons squad from my birthday last July.

 

I may have a problem...

UPDATE: finished the 20 man conscript squad, a metal commissar, a primaris psyker, leman Russ hull, and 4 of 15 plastic scions. Bad news: got a manticore and some Deathwatch for xmas so painting has stalled once again as I assemble stuff... Edited December 29, 2016 by Cap'm Heckus

Well... I stopped by GW on the way home from work, so now in addition to my start collecting scions box I have:

 

• 20 cadian troopers
• 3 heavy weapon teams
• a platoon command squad
• 5 extra troops to build as alternate options

The look on my friend's face when I told him that stack of boxes was for kill team was priceless!

I plan to redoing my Guard this year thanks to a new full-time job and the funds that brings. I'll be using Anvil Industries' amazing kits for my guard.

Gothic Void helmet, gothic curve shoulder pads (not shown) Medieval torso, short greatgoat legs and trenchfighters phase rifle

Until then I still have a Taurox and Malcador to build and paint. And a Stormtrooper platoon to repaint.

I must admit that I am actually quite disciplined when it comes to making sure my men are built and painted, I am a Mordian Iron Guard player after all :P

 

Out of roughly 10k points of Guard my list of shame is only

It will be a long time before I finish all this stuff, I have reached that stage in my collection where I can field almost any kind of IG army and not use any unpainted models. Which is a bitter sweet moment because it means I have been starting several new small armies but none of them quite scratch the same itch as when I was deep into building and painting IG.
