jbizzl3y Posted November 8, 2016 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Welcome to my Sons of Sanguinius, WIP Log! First, a little background info! Having recently started reading the Horus Heresy, I decided I wanted to play 40k again! (having not picked up a model in what must be 8-10 years). Back when i did play me and my brother would paint our models in a slap-dash and play with a mix and match of rules! Since picking the hobby back up we've both been playing down at our local GW and re-learning the current edition. We've only been collecting for about two months but have found B&C recently and found the wealth of knowledge incredibly helpful and the quality of the various showcases and WIP's inspiring! So without further-ado, I would like to present my small blood angels force which i am currently assembling and painting! Here is My Current army, The first tactical squad is completed (on the left) I dry-brushed and washed them which was super quick and for my first squad i'm reasonably happy. I'm going to edge highlight the second squad, having done so with my librarian and predator. I think i prefer the results (although its much more time consuming!) A few of the first Squad I have just completed my Librarian and am really really happy with how he came out! So for the remainder of this week i will be working on getting my predator and terminator captain finished! Here is where i'm at with them: I hope you've enjoyed reading so far, and please leave comments on where you think i could improve, i'm really enjoying sinking some time into modelling and painting my Blood Angels!
