Need help with a conversion idea

I'm looking at doing a Farith Redloss conversion for some Dreadwing fun (centurion siege master for rules) and trying to decide on a pose for him. I already have the axe head sorted (serious kitbash for it) but what overall theme

 

There's 2 ideas I'm debating

 

1 - walking forward, axe held ready, surveying / directing the attack (using DV Chaos chosen axe arm for the base of the weapon)

 

2 - charging forward, ready to swing double handed (using Deathwatch heavy thunder hammer as the base)

 

There's pro's and cons with both, and just not sure which would look better.

Once I get in my iron hands immortal squad I'll show you what I'm doing ;)

 

It's the sergeant of that squad with the bare head walking forward, but he's getting a mkIII axe (sort of hourglass shaped) and a pointing left arm.

 

I love the dude, he's my favorite DA character so far :D

I'm for option one. Both are great options but for those character models I prefer a nice open stance. Just my two cents. :)

I think having him stand over a broken Leviathan shell would be fitting with the books ;)

I know he has a shaven head and goatee, but I'd imagine that with all the rad weapons around, he'd at least want a rebreather so he doesn't get Space lung cancer.
