Going back over the rules and I'm confused on the combined squads and heavy weapons. If I purchase say 5 squads each with a lascannon can I do a 30 man blob and a 20 man blob with 5 lascannon or do I have to put 3 cannons with that first blob? My goal is to have 4 lascannon and protect them with 10 to 20 infantry in front of them but not have 40 dudes sitting back baby sitting 4 cannons. Indefragable Posted December 18, 2016 Share Posted December 18, 2016 Get ready to baby sit. Combined Squads means you combine infantry squads AS UNITS, with all their upgrades, together. You can not cherry pick which models from the units to put together. So just like you can't pick out all the Sgts to put together, so too can you not have just the lascannons together. It's all or nothing: 5x 10 man squads with 1x lascannon each or 1x50man blob with 5x lascannons. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
