Pig Of Sparta Posted July 31, 2021 Share Posted July 31, 2021 One of my more insane ideas. 3000pts of Imperial Fists for 30k - Veterans of the War of the Howling Gyre: Many of those who who survived this catastrophic campaign would not walk into the fires of battle again unaided and the VIIth Legion were loathe to lose their expertise so those that could be were implanted into Dreadnought chassis best fitting their demeanour and skill at arms. Whether interred in a Dreadnought or not, all of those who fought in the campaign blackened their armour that the losses they sustained would never fade from memory. Painted in 2018/19 and born of a love for Castraferrum pattern dreadnoughts and the desire to do something seldom seen, this army is more a folly than anything else, but damn if a tide of Dreadnoughts doesn't look cool! mughi3 Posted November 28, 2022 Share Posted November 28, 2022 (edited) Not much to show off here, just re-building a bit of my dark angels from my 20 year old collection. i am basing it around the old 3.5 min codex as our gaming group plays old hammer. so i am staying with the plasma/sword theme. i am up to about 3,800 points i have a squad of guardians of the covenant in there and i am thinking about trying to include some of the other successor chapters at a later date.
