Also. The word ululating was used like ... loads, lol

Four times apparently :biggrin.:

Smarty pants! Maybe it was just a unique word that I noticed.

It wasn’t as bad as some other book I read from the new setting. That one had the word “enfilading” in it loads of times. I can’t remember which one that was though!

In fairness yeah, it's not a common word but it's one I quite enjoy so it stands out if it features more than a couple of times. I dread to think how many times "void" features in Carcharodon stories.

Don't worry nothing will ever top "wet leopard"

This! Brings back so many memories and it's just one of the many reasons why i love Prospero Burns so much :happy.:

Got my pre-order of this in Paperback booked on Amazon today, roll on May 31st and some White Scars goodness!

Yet another fine read from RobMac:thumbsup: Just finished The Last Hunt, Robbie MacNiven's first foray into the realm of the White Scars, and he does not disappoint. He builds well on the WS saga fleshed out so finely by Chris Wraight in his HH works. His character development is good, and the interaction between the two major characters, Joghaten, Khan of the 4th Brotherhood and Qui'sin, a young but powerful stormseer is spiced with a little tension to keep things interesting. There are poignant moments for some of the WS characters that keep them well grounded and relatable.

Robbie adds some good twists and turns to keep this story well paced and from becoming a by the numbers Tyranid tale. And while some may feel that the ending is a bit deus ex machina, I think it works well and was very satisfying.

If you are a White Scars or a Robbie MacNiven fan (or both:wink:), pick this one up and read it. You'll be glad you did.

Sorry for being a necro but since I signed off of Facebook, I'm not up to date in certain authors, anymore.

Are there any intentions to release that in German or did I miss its release? Can't find it on Amazon, for example.

Furthermore, any chance of a sequel, as well?

I would have SWORN I had already seen it at local Thalia Bookshops, but... just checked Amazon and Thalia and can't find it.

I also feel like it's already out in German but haven't been able to find a trace of it... I'll ask and get back to you. And re. a sequel, I'd sure love to get the Master of Blades back into the action at some point, but unfortunately it's not on my radar at the moment.

Yo dude what you working on next spill the beans man

The Outer Dark will be out in German on June 1st for the kindle edition and June 5 for the print, according to Amazon. So it's just about out in the wild, and potentially already shipping via GW/BL directly, as Amazon has a tendency of being a little behind
