I Helias Tancred rise to the challenge of The Great Baalite Bake Off and vow to kitbash Captain Eilios Tiberius of the Ironhelms on or before April 3rd, 2017. Success will bring honour to our glorious chapter and honours to the 3rd Company Ironhelms, whilst failure is not an option...

Have to say, he looks quite imposing. Probably should get around to making a Chaplain with a Fist at some point...

Oh and I forgot I chopped the Primus Medicae arm up to make it into a BA Primus Medicae (or a TDA Sanguinary Priest if we ever get them)

Logged this as OOC too seeing as it's the most obvious OOC choice for us! It's actually the easiest conversion of a TDA Priest I've seen. A few years a go I got all the bits required for a TDA Priest conversion and then GW went and removed the option :verymad:

Ok, I'm posting some pictures. They are huge and uncropped, and although clear, not exactly what I wanted but.... such is life in the grim, dark future.

With that one done, I'm going to go double check the Dreadnought bits I found and make sure the Librarian Dreadnought is still possible to enter. It might be out of competition, but it's still cool, so I might take the time to document it anyways.

Thanks again, Jolemai, for being the heart and fiery soul of this subforum and organizing these events. They get me out of a hobby slump every time.

First time I've seen a Venerable Dreadnought head on a Marine. Always surprises me that they fit (and vica versa). I think he's quite striking and look forward to seeing him painted up  for the ETL :tu:

I'm also amused that after my Jetbike, that OOP LotD shoulder pad is probably the most expensive part used in this thread haha :)

Honestly, it's my pleasure :)

I bought one of those mythical mixed lot of Marines on eBay, and inside there was enough Legion of the Dammed and Blood Angel Death Company shoulder pads, all in metal, to do at least 20 Marines all together. I think someone ordered the bits back when GW would do specific parts for a planned project, and I was the lucky son of a Baalite who wound up with them.

Looking good and vow complete! In fact, if you magnetised a grail on the inferno pistol arm, you could run a Sanguinor instead :happy.:

Thread updated to here - folks, don't forget to check the vows on the front page in case I've missed something! :ph34r.:

I, the Father Mapple, of the Blood Suns and first of his name, rise to the challenge of The Great Baalite Bake Off and vow to kitbash one Librarian Furioso Dreadnought, on or before April 3rd, 2017. Success will bring honour to the Blood Angels and their successors, whilst failure is not an option...

Found the bits to do this one, although the body,an arm, and "engine" I made a long time ago are already primed. It's one of the first projects I started putting together but didn't finish.

Grazcruzk, that's the best Tycho I've ever seen modeled. Great positioning and movement, and there's no doubt who it is. But you really make him DC as well. Edited by Father Mapple

That is excellent, Grascruzk! The pose is perfect :tu:

I got my entry painted up already (likely I won't have much time for the ETL this summer). A last bit of Slaaneshi-pollution for this thread...

Completion logged, but where to start with this one?

As already mentioned, the pistol-turret is really cool and I would have never guessed that the base was in the RAS box. You can tell you were around during the third edition by giving the Chaplain a death mask  but by combining two heads to do it :ohmy.: How are you going to paint it? Pretty cool crozius too.

Congratulations on these three excellent additions!

DCC - I don't recognise the base model at all, what was it? The skull is very well done, I wish I could do that!

Librarian - What I love the most about this one is the bling on the left leg as it fits so well! Think I've got some of those knocking about still :happy.:

DC Tycho - Excellent and gs digi-lasers too! Particularly like the combi-weapon as it looks seamless. Good head choice too.
