Does he grant infiltrate? It seems like the FAQ means he has to deploy alone, whether or not he infiltrates. He can only deploy with jump infantry but the FAQ says infiltrators can't deploy with non-infiltrators, which is every jump unit...

SM FAQ clarified that he can allow a jump unit to infiltrate with him. Unless the reversed that.

Tbh I actually went back and read the rules for him. They seem fairly straight forward that he can. Codex trumps BRB n all.

You're right about the FAQ, I just found it in there. I only knew of the ruling in the BRB FAQ that says infiltrators can't be joined during deployment unless it's by another unit with infiltrate. It's good he got a mention in there!
