apologist
And there, at the end of all things, you will find what you have sought all this time. There, where you thought nothing of consequence could flower. And what you find there will appal you. You will be named Outsider. And Unclean And That-Which-Is-Other. And you will sorrow, then. For the seeking was the way and the end. Res ipso. In and of its frightful self. And you will turn, and you will seek once again. And they will know you, then, by the trail of the dead. Olis
There's a certain power behind a group image of these guys. It's like a tide of unyielding ceramite itself. ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/332747-iron-warriors-of-the-footsore-242nd/#findComment-4705364 Share on other sites
Debauchery101
I like the gritty look. Also glad you didnt smother them in caution stripes. Putting caution stripes on everything reminds me of having to wear the stupid reflective pt belt when i was a Marine. Draakur
Very cool. Was the writing all yours or was that taken from something? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/332747-iron-warriors-of-the-footsore-242nd/#findComment-4705973 Share on other sites

This army was very much an exercise in teaching myself metallics; and the hazard stripes can be very distracting. I've used them only sparingly, so that the overall impression is sombre. Glad you like 'em. Very cool. Was the writing all yours or was that taken from something? Made up on the fly; I've had a lot of practise at writing generically portentous stuff in the blog for this army!
