The Grim Badger
I hope this is the right place to post it, but I went on a bit of a hobby bender on Sunday and built and painted the whole lot... Enjoy! http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n240/mankindben/17861723_10158738653465727_444082728180421371_n_1.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n240/mankindben/17862620_10158739547340727_70311699504081858_n_1.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n240/mankindben/17757357_10158739547345727_5648989603312037143_n_1.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n240/mankindben/17884048_10158739547355727_3857258390108873753_n_1.jpg http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n240/mankindben/17884317_10158741550285727_2417447335836396672_n_1.jpg
Warsmith Manat-Yi
This is excellent. It looks mostly airbrushed right? How long did it take to paint up? Also +1 for a brother in iron.

In fact I just used spray cans. One brown, one metallic silver, one copper and one beige. I then tidied up a bit with some lead belcher, added some agrax and nuln washes, and then went to town with Tyhpus Corrosion, Ryza Rust and the Verdigris Oxide stuff. Also used the old hairspray chipping technique on the beige areas. All in all I probably spent about 9 hours on this on Sunday from sprues to finished. Bryan Blaire
The scenery looks awesome, Grim Badger! I very much like the palette you chose. The rusted patches on the walks is a very nice touch and adds to the visual appeal. It does look like it might be missing one chimney? Great work through a marathon painting session! Reyner
Nice! I was wondering what to paint mine as I may steal this scheme :P I still need to build the smoke stacks from my set.

Yeah, I was keen to go with lighter colours to emphasis the weathering. After working on my Iron Hands it was a blessed relief to have a light palette to work with - hah! Not sure about missing a chimney - I used everything that was in my box...hmm! :) Nice!
