Hey guys,

I was reading the 'tome of fate' rpg book last night and came across the Idolitrex Magi. I'm keen on adding dark mech allies to my Oracles of Change force. Are there any stand out expamples of sorcerous dark mech forces or technology that I can take inspiration from? That or other famous tzeentch alined mechanicus.

Cheers

Dark Mech Technology? Did you take a look at all the Daemon engines already? :D

Here is a link to some fantastic dark mechanicus figures - actually, his pitfighter, mutant and navigator figures might also provide inspirations.

As a note, I just happened to stumble across his gallery - I have no connection with or knowledge with its creators.

Inquisitor Psychologis Ruminahui

In A D-B's Talon of Horus, Khayon is a former thousand son sorcerer who's ship relies heavily on dark mechanicus constructs for defense.  They ally with a heretek / hell-forge in the Eye in the story.

Model-wise, I've put together Skitarii as counts-as cultists, and am planning on using some Forgeworld Myrmidion Destructors as counts-as Obliterators

Not Tzeentch-specific, but GuitaRasmus DarkMech kitbash thread is my personal favorite:

Only tzeentch-specific DarkMech I know is this drawing by John Blanche for a character named Telemort the Heretek, Abomination of Tzeentch.  Not sure if there's any lore/stories about him anywheere.

(if someone knows how to link picture directly let me know and I'll update)

Too bad none of the image links in that thread work tho. :/

You link images directly by using the [ img ]   [ /img ] tags (without space of course).

D'oh, thanks. Having trouble editing for some reason

Anyway, here's a link with working pictures from GuitaRasmus

you still have to close the tags tho. :D

Thanks for the replies. I have seen some of the Rasmus stuff before whilst ambling around the interwarp, it is amazing. That John Blanche piece is pretty amazing as well, maybe a few of the new silver tower cultists faces can be used to add some moon masks.

Beyond demon engines, I think for now I'm just going to convert the tech-witch magos and use tech-thralls as skitarii. I can double them up for heresy as well then. That is unless a crazy cool dark mech book comes out with a new model range.
