Old Characters in 8th?

With the 8th ed just around the corner and it's interest in characters and Heros and recent revival of Marbo, (and the recent GWC article) was wondering if GW would be bring back any of the older characters as well, Chenkov with his reserves spam, Al rahem and his outflanking moves, Bastonne etc....or would that go back to creating the OP that 8th ed is trying to avoid?

I think it's possible. Without the more restrictive codex release schedule and free/downloadable rules they could easily drop a new/old model in whenever they want. What unique rules they have (if at all) is anyone's guess, but I think it's quite an opportunity for GW. We'll need to wait and see if they take it

Well Sly Marbo came back I'd say anything at this point is certainly possible

Chenkov being able to spend command points to get back infantry units that have died seems plausible.

I'm curious as to whether or not we'll see Creed and Krell, since the latter is very much dead and I don't see them NOT pushing out a new and updated (Lord Solar please) Creed in the future, especially if Cadians are still going to remain the line's focus.
