Silver Templar, Minotaur, Carcharodron

A trio lightly kitbash from the Warhammer Conquest easy-to-build set. I fancied trying a few different schemes.

Another three still to come. Not sure what chapter one will be so open to suggestions.

I really like the Minotaur and the Carcharodon marines. I don't know what it is about them but the just look "right" somehow. The battle damage looks well executed though, I can see that well enough. Good job. :)

Very nice work Brother Canardwc:thumbsup: Your Reaver/Eversor is an especially standout piece:yes:

In fact, nice work everyone:biggrin.:

Thanks a lot !

@Canardwc I love what you've done with the Aggressor rotary barrels - what bits did you use on the guns?

I used these ones,  perfect for aggressors : https://www.blightwheelminiatures.com/bionic-arms-with-weapons-1

Raptors, Mortifactors, Emperor's Spears.

What I did on my B&C holiday, the second batch of Warhammer Conquest marines.

Absolutely in love with the Mortifactors example. Their color scheme translates extremely well to the plating of MK X armor.

Here's the Aggressors I recently finished. I was too lazy to get a light source for the pictures, opting to brighten them digitally. combining that with a varnish coat I'm not hugely happy with and the pictures look a bit flat to me. They are just waiting for me to finish drawing up some chapter iconography so for now I'm considering them finished. You can probably see wispy bits on the sergeant. I can't tell if that's dust that I missed before varnishing or whether the varnish itself did that.

Here's my Limited Ed Lieutenant. Black eyes as a Raven Guard, helmet stripe so you know he's special, head injury mirrored on the inside of his helmet (that I can't get a pic of).

Hi Aramis K

Thanks for the kind feedback

Unfortunately painted & sold them last year, these are my only pictures.

Blade simple.  Two edges on blade - each side went from dark to lite for contrast - used a dark blue + pale blue + white/black for highlights or deep shade (dark areas made black paint into a wash really.  Used a wet pallet to develop my shades going from dark to light.  Oh used blue as thought it would go well with space wolves.  U can apply this to any colour variant u wish.

I then applied watwathcher green - not to much. Then thinned tamiya X-25 green clear coat again thinned (looking back you may as well skip waywatcher tbh LOL.  Then finally very light dry brush of  Vallejo silver model air one of the best on market & I have many many paints LOL (sorry number & name has been rubbed off on my one so cannot give more details on it).  I do this "silver light dry brush on models", watched a utube vid they did it on bases, just really makes things pop.  But don't go overboard (use it on areas u thing needed to "pop" more or catches light etc), just gives highlights a boost

Another simple way to do a blade i use: use that Vallejo metallic air silver to paint blade - apply green wash (citadel or Tamiya) - black wash or dark green at hilt moving up slightly getting weaker - then dry brush using that Vallejo silver - done

hope above helps...Good luck
