I'm sorry to say I'm very late to this party.

 

To coincide with the release of 8th ed I decided to start an Iron Warriors force I bought and started assembling then painting towards the end of June but don't have any before pictures only a few WIP photos.

 

Would I still be allowed to participate?

​Photos will follow, once I find a replacement for photobucket or fail that link my facebook page. I just need to gather parts for the Chaos Lord, few friends are running a 40k RPG game & have base a Iron Warrior warsmith on myself. My Space Wolf oppent saying how there new Wolf Lord base on there RPG game & there using the game just had over a hour ago as a way to build up the narrative. So model him on the way they've base the Lord.

Hey IP, unfortunately it's only one unit per vow. I mean, that said maybe you can make three vows simultaneously? Not sure.

 

 

I've now edit this just to be the Chaos Lord, base on my friends RPG campaign.

I'm still alive! :) I suddenly got tasked with reorganizing my entire workplace so I'm swamped at work (and is actually living in a hotel for two months because of this) and it's been a bit wierd lately. I have seen the lovely participations here and it pains me that I haven't been able to make an update to the OP yet. I will make an update in the weekend for sure. Keep it coming guys, it seems that Iron Warriors are coming in strong now...other legions beware!

Yes, there is no limit to participation, join the fight, fight for your legion!

Build these last week, primed on monday and airbrushed first layer and gloss varnish yesterday.

Helping Excessus out, I've added vows made from page 3 to this, page 4.  If I've miss anyone out could you please let me know & I've also try to link the vows as well both new vows & complete vows.

Parweke - Just to say you may not want to use photobucket.  As you'll see there, they've block the image.  This is due to a change in terms about three week ago, though there was no advance notice beyond a scam looking email early on Friday moring.
​Pretty much if you wish to use photobucket to post on forums, etc... you need to go plus 500 member & that costly $399.99.  You'd be best using the gallery Bolter & Chainsword has or look for another site to store image

Great work! Yurik's pose, the blood effects, the little details like the numerals on the skulls- I love it. What a fantastic model.

Decided to forgo using real rust effects, since it ends up kinda orange and I thought that would clash with his stylish yellow cape. Gonna add another vow later.

I forgot about this thread before I started on my Dark Vengeance Imperium plague marines and don't have any pics. Is it okay if I vow them now?

 

They're still not finished and being new releases I can't cheat with them.

My next vow is forthcoming... if minimum units are allowed, I would like to paint a solitary Mutilator, as that is the only one I have (which was fine under the old Codex). If not, I will dig up something else to pledge. Ave Chaotica!
