I may be wrong but I seem to remember GeeDubs saying that there WON'T be any any army specific detachments, only army-specific uses for command points highly dependant on keywords.

 

 

I'll believe it when I see the army books come out. Till then, I call shenanigans. GW backflip on all sorts of things, I don't trust them at all. Formations were successful at selling models IIRC, as bad as they were for the game itself.

 

Faction-specific strategems would be cool, I'm hoping they're at least relevant. Warlord Traits was such a terrible design hole last edition.

There is a grey box somewhere in the 8th rulebook where it talks about codizes and what they include and they specifically mention warlord traits, relics and faction specific stratagems so there you go.

Sweet, hopefully they'll find a way to give us some cool abilities and options.

 

Will be interesting to see what Liber Daemonica does in this edition. It was actually quite good in 7th, and being an aura it will translate fairly well.
