How practical would an all Inceptors army be?

Obviously this isn't intended to be seriously competitive and would be an elite force but what do people think about this idea?

 

I'm certain we'll see some sort of Inceptor option for Captains and additional weapon options for the troops once the new codex hits but would this make for a viable and fun army to play?

 

It seems like a fun concept to me.

It does sound fun, but REALLY risky against horde armies that could smother in h-t-h.

I would say not much. Fun but impractical :

- Very vulnerable to Autocannon spam with 2 damage, or Broadside missiles

- Lack of AT firepower. The Akimbolters are cool but it would require a bit under 100 shots to kill a Rhino. Just imagine more serious machines like Land Raiders  or Imperial Knights...

- Like Grotsmasha said : hordes will drown them under weight of dice, making it risky too
