Yeah they share shoulder pad size. I think the trick to keeping them still looking like terminators would be to keep the backpiece. The vents and the boxy shape are pretty defining I'd say.

I'm not at home so I can't check my models right now, but are gravis legs thicker than the standard mkX ones? For bikes you could potentially use the Inceptor legs (especially in the new kit, the "car seat" one looks similar to riding a bike). Since they're definitely longer, skip the bottom part of the bike where the pedals are and then those silly shock absorbers on the Inceptor feet as your foot-on-pedals... Unless of course the gravis IS noticably thicker, then it may just look stupid... That said, a primaris on a regular sized bike might just look silly all together.

You could probably pop them on Twolves and they'd still look alright though.

Yeah, terminators from gravis seems to be the best choice but I haven't thought about how yet. The Agressors look to be a good place to start as they are multi part. I gotta finish my power armour conversions first. Once the Rune Priest is finished I want to do a Wolf Priest then maybe some Long Fangs. The primaris arms are a bit longer than regular marine arms though so just using existing devastator arms may look strange. So much to think about here.

I too have been shaving the aquilla off of the chest plate. Looks much more suitable for the space wolves!

whered the brass runes come from?

:censored: yes.

How do you file the chest? I wish the base models had the chest clean and adding aquilas was an option.

I just use the fine detail cutter/generic version

and just clip it off. takes like 4 seconds.

then I clean it up with an exacto blade

Glad everyone is enjoying the conversions!

I usually just slice it off with an xacto blade before assembly while cleaning the parts. Although with this guy I did just like Triszin and use my clippers.

Brass runes are from Secret Weapon, 2mm brass etch runes.

Really nice work on the conversions, great choice on the Spellcrow and Kromlech bits (I use a ton of them on my pieces).  I've just started converting some Reivers to be Space Wolves.

One thing I would recommend is taking some casts with Blu-Stuff for the wolf bits you are using from the GW stuff, like the wolf skulls, icons etc. That way you don't destroy the GW bit by cutting off the icon and you can make loads of copies with green-stuff.

Question for anyone who can help.

Anyone know of a good source of bare, gun holding arms that will scale well with the Primaris? I need some for my Reivers/Wolf Scout conversions. I think the old fantasy beastmen Gor arms will work ok for the pistols, hand weapons etc but I have no idea what to use for bolters, sniper rifles etc. in firing poses.

Gun holding?  No.  The current new everything is a terminator size AOS Khorne Bloodreavers might work if you pick the arms with less chaosy gauntlets.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! New question. Starting work on my Wolf Scouts, some of which will be used for Shadow War Armageddon. I’m trying to find bare arms for holding bolters, sniper rifles etc. What do people think of these Ork arms scale wise? Bear in mind it’s just quickly blu tacked together.

Where did the shields on your wulfen come from? I haven't found good-sized ones like that. Only too big and too small.

I think the ork arms look OK, assuming you can get the wrists to look ok! Better sculper than I am if you can.

Need to get a couple of these guys painted!

The shields are just the regular ones from the Wulfen kit.

Well a year later and I have some updates. These have all been built for Kill Team. I'll be using Primaris rules but my standard non-Primaris fluff. I think the improved Primaris profile helps sell the "movie marines" image in a small scale game like Kill Team. The Kill Team is based around a Grey Hunter pack with their Wolf Guard pack leader and a few add ons from other packs.

These last 2 also serve as a concept of how I want the scouts to look in my "truescale primaris size" army. The 2 skyclaws will have Sanguinary Guard jump packs sans wings added to count as grav-chutes and grapnels. Some of these are being painted right now. I'm trying out a commission service for the first time and I'm excited to see the results. If they look as good as I hope they will then I'll send the rest over to be done.
