So, I finally got around to taking new pictures of my Space Wolves in their current configuration for 8th edition. Of course, things might change a little bit when the actual codex comes out, and I adjust a few things, but I don't anticipate many changes. I'll hide everything in spoiler tags, so the images don't all have to load every time someone opens this thread.

What's your points total, or Power total, depending upon how this force is to be assembled?

This is a great start, and considering it all as a unified force, this seems amazingly well thought out and fluffy as your own force!

Again, nice; where are you going from here with this Great Company?

All of the stuff pictured comes to 4,775 points, so there is no way to play with all of it at the same time, outside of a huge Apocalypse-style battle that I'll never do. It's just the accumulation of my Space Wolves over the past 25 years. Of course, it would be much bigger if I'd kept everything, but over the years I've sold off most of my old RT/2e era metal models in favor of newer plastics. I do have a few left, though, as you can see, especially in the 'Random Dudes' section.

Much appreciated! I'm pretty happy with how it has come together over the years. Obviously, I lean strongly toward regular old infantry, so the vast majority consist of regular packs.

I'll probably sell off the two Wolf Scout Packs, and at least the two older metal Dreadnoughts, and a couple of the older metal infantry models, to make room for some different units. I'm strongly considering popping off the backpacks of the Blood Claws and making them Sky Claws. I've got 10 plastic Jump Packs already assembled; I just need to get my hands on an eleventh, so I can give one to the WGPL that would go with them. I'd probably also need a twelfth jump pack, so I could put one on that 2003 Games Day Wolf Priest, so he could accompany them, too. That model has been my counts-as Ulrik for well over a decade, but I might use him as a generic Wolf Priest if I do go through with the Sky Claws plan. Other than that, I don't see adding any other "traditional" Space Wolves units at this point. Like I said, I already have to leave about half of the stuff in the cabinet when I play as it is. I will maybe, maybe, add a single unit of Wulfen at some point, but I'll wait until our actual 8e codex drops before I make that decision. I kind of like the fact that I have an old-school army that doesn't rely on any newfangled Wulfen or Thunderwolf Cavalry, though. I would also seriously consider adding in a Stormwolf or Stormfang at some point. I'd probably try to sell the Land Raider, though, to make the room for one of those first. I do really like the flyers, and think they make much more sense, thematically, for a space-based military strike force.

The other thing I'm still debating on is what to do with my Primaris Marines. I'll definitely be collecting those, and am deciding on whether I want to just integrate them into my Blackmanes, start a new army of Wolfspears, or go with something completely different with them.

Best,

V
