Like in the Raven Guard thread I was wondering what your Fire-Born have been up to.

My Salamanders 4th Company have been participating in the Defense of the Konor system.

We've run into Magnus and his Rubric Marines and lost a squad of tactical marines.

They've been replaced with Primaris reinforcements since then.

After that, they faced off against our most hated foes, the Dark Eldar!

With elements from the Blood Angels, we utterly destroyed them with cleansing flame!

The Death Company and my Epistolary Ja'mel played a pivotal role in the victory for our forces.

So far the 4th Company Expedition Fleet under secondment to the Forgefather have achieved little in terms of recorded conflicts. They spent most of the last two hundred years trapped inside a warp game by Tzeentch. Upon successfully escaping, they encountered the Ynarri on the battlefield and through concentrated boltgun fire swept them forcefully from the world.

Since then they have returned to Nocturne to resupply and take on reinforcements before reuniting with He'Stan to once again search for the Song of Entropy.

Battle of Mordhim-

After we after recovering their losses from previous conflicts, the 4th ran into a fairly large Ork warband under the banner of Warboss Mutha'rucka.

Tactical Squad 1 "The Hammer's of Nocturne" managed to destroy two squads of stormboyz and the combined efforts of Tac Sqd 2 "Knights of the Flame" and Tac Sqd 3 "Ebon Drakes" obliterated 30 boyz with bolter fire and purifying flame before the Warboss challenged He'Stan himself. Seeing the danger the xenos possessed, Honored Brother Za're intervened before he could close with He'Stan.

With the primarchs name on his lips, Za're charged straight at the abomination called Mutha'rucka. Za're's Master-Crafted blade cut deep into the enemy warlord, bringing him within the inch of his life. The Warboss called for an all out retreat to preserve himself and his remaining forces. The 4th destroyed as many as they could before their eventual escape.
