Beams
Sisters don't have open topped. They have firepoints. It's a bit pendantic, but it's important, since the Penitents Engine used to be open topped but now isnt, and is lower toughness than a dread to represent it. Tyr13
Yeah, open-topped doesnt really exist anymore. Models that used to be OT are now represented by a lower T, and if passengers could shoot out of them, then they have a special rule stating so now. The shooting out thing is the bit i am mostly meaning, as the centaur cant do it and some vehicles can, so it might be something to mention to FW as it might make them a bit more useful. Dr_Ruminahui
Im just curious, open topped is a thing in 40k still right? Is there a reason why centaurs dont have the ability even though they dont have a roof/rear? I know some eldar units have it. Unsure about if orks still do Orks do indeed have it. Makes units of 9 burnas in a truck really nasty. But yes, it is represented in 8th through a lower toughness and the ability to fire out of the vehicle, rather than any specific "open topped" rule.
