I Threefiddy answer the Call of Chaos and vow to complete 1x Helldrake, 1x Sicaran Assault Tank, 10x Tactical Squad, 10x Tactical Squad, 1x Fire Raptor, 1x Chaos Lord and before December 15th 2017. If I do this successfully I will receive the Mark of Total Hedonism and continue on the path to ruin. If I fail I’ll wear the Mark of the Lost and I expect no mercy on my soul!

 

If any of the units I have listed do not qualify I can change them up as I have plenty of stuff and some of that maybe applicable. (Have not played in a long time and not sure what chaos have access too)

 

Going to be painting these up in Night Lords scheme.

 

Will be putting up additional units which do not qualify as chaos as out of competition stuff just to keep the paint flowing.

Update time.

I had a productive weekend, it was a public holiday here so I got more time to paint than usual. I managed to complete 2 helbrutes (1 still needs basing) I still need to get 7 plague marines painted for a tournament on Saturday however, which are currently only undercoated. I would have liked to have had time to rebase 22 models and repaint my display board too but alas; I don't think I'll get it all done.

I'll try to get another update done next week, next will be the squad of 7 plagues, followed by typhus. I'll get some better pictures of my minis at some point. Will need to build a lightbox I think.

Been doing what I can to salvage the First Strike marines, who along with the belly mouth Dark Imperium marine were too mutated and messed up for my tastes!

 

Should have enough of these dudes for some batch painting now!! This will be my plague marine squad pledge, the plague caster and Blightbringer ready to roll

   I've finished the base flesh of the Plaguebearers and am now moving on to the details. They're coming together pretty quickly so hopefully by the end of the week they'll be finished. Until then.

Had a lot of fun painting this guy, oil weathering , rust effects and chipping was a lot of fun! Really think 'dirty' Legions offer a lot of fun.

On a separate note the Fire Raptor was not only a pig to build but that and the Achilles Raider I had some issues with the primer, after spraying from the rattle can I have ended up with a patchy coat and a sort of orange peel in places.

So gonna have to spend some time fixing that just like I had to spend forever bending resin pieces into shape just to assemble the Raptor. The newer kit like the sicaran was a much easier build !!

 

Any C&C on the tank is appreciated.

Now have a pause for almost three weeks for a trip to China, then I will have to hurry to finisht the other units and the bases

My mistake sorry, the 1 was a typo in my original pledge. I mentioned that in my 1st update post in this thread when I posted the pictures of the unpainted minis (I did include both unpainted helbrutes in that post). I don't mind if you don't count the 2nd helbrute as 7 or 8 pledges doesn't make a difference to the title (Assuming I finish them all).

 

Looking at the summary post in the 1st page, I have finished painting the Daemon Prince too and posted it in this thread.
